The Vow Room.

It started with a dream and an empty 1100 sq ft space. With a whole lotta paint and love…

Transformed into a sweet micro-elopement venue for up to 10 guests in the heart of downtown, Spokane, WA.

FAQs

  • A micro-elopement is an intimate, intentional ceremony that strips away the stress and expense of a traditional wedding. It usually includes just the couple and a handful of guests, often under 10 people, and focuses on what truly matters: your vows, your connection, and your love story. At The Vow Room, we specialize in micro-elopements that are stylish, stress-free, and deeply meaningful.

  • Yes, you’ll need a valid Washington State marriage license to make it official. The process is simple, and we’re happy to help guide you through it if you have any questions.

Here’s how it works in Washington:

    1. Apply Online or In Person
You can start your application online through your local county auditor’s office (like Spokane County) or apply in person.

    2. Wait 3 Days
Washington State requires a three-day waiting period before your license becomes valid. Plan accordingly—we cannot legally perform your ceremony without an active license.

    3. Use It Within 60 Days
Your license is good for 60 days from the date of issue. If it expires, you’ll need to apply again.

    4. Bring It With You
On your ceremony day, bring your physical license and a valid photo ID. We’ll take care of signing and filing it after the ceremony.

Need help? We’re here for all the logistics, not just the love story. Reach out if you have questions; we’re happy to walk you through the process.

  • Up to 10 guests. Dogs on a case-by-case basis.

  • Yes! We’d love to officiate your ceremony and make it meaningful, warm, and true to you. But if you have someone special in mind, you’re welcome to BYOO (Bring Your Own Officiant).

A friend or family member can easily get ordained online in just a few minutes (usually around $50). We’re happy to support whichever option feels right for your day.

  • Absolutely. We believe your ceremony should sound like you. Whether you want to write your own vows, include a favorite poem, or weave in a meaningful ritual, we welcome it. Our officiants can keep it classic or get creative. It's your story, and we're here to help you tell it your way.

  • With open arms and full hearts, yes. Love is love, and your story is welcome here.

The Vow Room was created as a space for all couples to feel safe, seen, and celebrated. Whether you identify as queer, trans, nonbinary, or anywhere on the beautiful spectrum of identity, we honor your partnership with the same reverence and joy we bring to every ceremony.

No awkward assumptions. No outdated scripts. Just a space where your love takes center stage.

  • We don’t offer in-house photography or videography at this time, but you’re absolutely welcome to bring your own photographer or videographer to capture the magic. We love working with creative pros and are happy to coordinate timing and setup.

We also offer a Polaroid & Photobooth Package for those who want playful, nostalgic keepsakes. It includes a curated backdrop, props, and instant prints to take home, perfect for tiny guest lists and big memories.

  • Whatever makes you feel powerful, beautiful, and you.

There are no rules here, just intention. Some couples arrive in gowns and suits, others in vintage jumpsuits, silk slips, or matching leather jackets. We’ve seen sequins, boots, veils, bare feet, and black velvet. We love it all.

The Vow Room is a space for self-expression and sacred style. Dress in what feels true to your love story.

  • We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance so we can give your ceremony the care and intention it deserves, but we also know that love doesn’t always follow a schedule.

We’re available 7 days a week, 24/7 through our online booking site, and we’re happy to accommodate last-minute ceremonies when we can. Whether you're planning ahead or caught up in a whirlwind romance, we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Just bring your vows and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • Pricing may vary depending on the package, day of the week, and any extras you choose, extended ceremony time, or custom vow keepsakes. Weekend ceremonies include a surcharge, while weekday bookings receive a discount (we love a Tuesday wedding).

We keep things simple, transparent, and flexible. Visit our Packages + Pricing page for more.

Reach out anytime, we’re happy to walk you through the details and help you find the right fit for your love story. 📩 thevowroom@gmail.com
