Do we need a marriage license?
Yes, you’ll need a valid Washington State marriage license to make it official. The process is simple, and we’re happy to help guide you through it if you have any questions.
Here’s how it works in Washington:
Apply Online or In Person
You can start your application online through your local county auditor’s office (like Spokane County) or apply in person.Wait 3 Days
Washington State requires a three-day waiting period before your license becomes valid. Plan accordingly—we cannot legally perform your ceremony without an active license.Use It Within 60 Days
Your license is good for 60 days from the date of issue. If it expires, you’ll need to apply again.Bring It With You
On your ceremony day, bring your physical license and a valid photo ID. We’ll take care of signing and filing it after the ceremony.
Need help? We’re here for all the logistics, not just the love story. Reach out if you have questions; we’re happy to walk you through the process. info@thevowroom.com

Pricing varies depending on the package you choose and any add-ons that make your day uniquely yours. Our base package starts at $950.
We believe in transparency and simplicity, no hidden fees, no surprises. Every ceremony includes the full experience: a beautifully styled seasonal altar, ceremony coordination, access to our downtown Spokane studio, music, décor, and support from our team of registered officiants.
Our pricing isn’t just for a space; it’s for an experience. We’ve designed The Vow Room so couples can show up, breathe, and simply get married without the stress or production of a traditional wedding.

Yes! We’d love to officiate your ceremony and make it meaningful, warm, and true to you. But if you have someone special in mind, you’re welcome to BYOO (Bring Your Own Officiant).
A friend or family member can easily get ordained online in just a few minutes (usually around $50). We’re happy to support whichever option feels right for your day. -

Yes! We don’t offer in-house photography or videography at this time, but you’re absolutely welcome to bring your own photographer or videographer to capture the magic. We love working with creative pros and are happy to coordinate timing and setup.

Whatever makes you feel powerful, beautiful, and you.
There are no rules here, just intention. Some couples arrive in gowns and suits, others in vintage jumpsuits, silk slips, or matching leather jackets. We’ve seen sequins, boots, veils, bare feet, and black velvet. We love it all.
The Vow Room is a space for self-expression and sacred style. Dress in what feels true to your love story.

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance so we can give your ceremony the care and intention it deserves, but we also know that love doesn’t always follow a schedule.
We’re available 7 days a week, 24/7 through our online booking site, and we’re happy to accommodate last-minute ceremonies when we can. Whether you're planning ahead or caught up in a whirlwind romance, we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Just bring your vows, and we’ll take care of the rest.
